After Removal of Wisdom Teeth

After Wisdom Tooth Extractions

Request Appointment

In most cases, wisdom teeth removal can be performed under local anesthesia, laughing gas (nitrous oxide), or IV sedation/ general anesthesia. These options, as well as the surgical risks will be discussed with you before the procedure is performed.

Once the teeth are removed, you will bite down on gauze placed in your mouth to help control bleeding. You will recover from your anesthesia under supervision in our office until you are ready to be taken home. On discharge, your postoperative kit will include written post-op instructions, prescriptions for pain medication, extra gauze, and antibiotics if needed. A follow-up appointment can be made as needed.

We take patient safety very seriously, and as such, our services are provided in an environment of optimum safety. Our doctors and staff are all experienced in anesthesia techniques and have undergone extensive training to provide you with the safest and most comfortable patient experience.
